USA withdraws from World Junior MX Championship 2015

The USA team, have withdrawn from the Worlds, as changes made do not suit . Deleting the 65 class, and change to the date, 1 week before Loretta Lynns (USA big money race meeting) makes the trip to Europe not viable. Sponsors, competitors and organisers were not happy. Appears we now have 85cc and 125cc Europe verses Australia ! Some USA riders are saying this is not really a world championship! Next year is Russia, then Latvia ,then Australia 2018.

Its looking like Australia 2018 may have a few Europeans (not many have said they will come), maybe some Newzealanders. The USA team has been the most dominate winners for the World Championships.

The 2014 World Junior Motocross new Venue- Lierneux, is open for practice sessions. The track is very similar to alot of Aussi tracks. A hard pack loamy clay dirt. This is not like the typical European tracks built on the side of a hill! This almosts looks like one of our tracks here. Built out on an open farming type area, the track is not used much at all normally.

TYE JONES 2014 Queensland Champion

In front of a large crowd at Coolum motocross this year Mackay people had a reason to be proud. Tye Jones won the Queensland Championships. The Redline team rider rode the harsh sandy track with geat style. For a rider who rarely leaves his own district race tracks, Tye certainly adapted to the Coolum track well. Most riders practiced the track before the race meeting, But Tye did not. Redline racing team have said Tye has lots of natural talent . This also showed at the Australian Championship in Victoria , as he came 3rd, with engine problems, but also setting the fastest lap times there! Its a pitty TYE couldnt attend the World Championship in Belgium this year, but the family has other commitments. 2013 and 2014 has been big so far for him! Congradualtions.

Wilson Todd /Under 19 YZ250F.

Well after scoring well in the 125cc class this year at Roma Sunshinestate series, Wilson was in blistering form on the 125 and 250.

Moving up to under 19 was a hugh deal! Wilson has set some of the fastest lap times in Under 19s we have seen! Riding the new YZ250F, Wilson is becoming fitter and working hard to develope the new bike. Wilson was Australia,s fastest 125cc rider this year and will be missed at the World Championships for sure.
